Meet Ms. Mimi: Your Dedicated Piano Instructor
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Ms. Mimi has guided students from ages 5 to 65 on their piano journeys. A distinguished musician and educator, she holds a Bachelor of Music (BM) from Sookmyung University in South Korea and 2 Master's Degrees in Piano Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Ms. Mimi is an active member of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Her teaching portfolio includes over 20 students who participate in annual piano competitions, perform in honor recitals, and undertake professional piano evaluations.
Her teaching philosophy emphasizes a well-rounded musical foundation, focusing on piano theory, technique, performance, and much more. With Ms. Mimi’s expertise and personalized approach, students are inspired to achieve their highest potential in music, whether pursuing piano as a hobby or a professional path.
